I am very excited to be joining the St. Ambrose Catholic Community as the Director of the Early Childhood Center. As a parishioner of the church and a parent of two children who have grown up in the St. Ambrose School community, I have a strong love for this program and a desire to see it grow to its full potential.
I have a bachelor’s degree in Human Development with a focus on Family Studies from the University of Tennessee. I also hold a Texas Teachers Certification for EC-6
th grade. Most of my career has been in early childhood education as a director for preschools and child care programs. However, in 2013 I decided to explore elementary school teaching in order to learn more about the development and education of older children. I taught 1st-5th grades in Catholic schools during the following 6 years. I realized that I was truly missing my time with younger children and am so thrilled to be back doing what I was meant to do.
Thank you so much for entrusting your precious children to our program. I pray that the teachers and I will be able to meet your expectations and that your child will find St. Ambrose to be a home away from home.
Please feel free to contact me anytime with questions, concerns, or just to chat. My door is always open to you. I look forward to getting to know you and your children.
